Council 276

New Letter for January - March 2016
Vivat Jesus!!!
Brother Knights, I hope your winter is going well!  I bet you can't wait for winter to get over just as much as I do.  Last year ended on a high not.  Our Council won the Service Star Award for Charitable Programs.  Just to list a few programs we donated and helped, such as Operation Santa Claus, Mary's Soup Kitchen, Autism Awarness and the Food Pantry!  I was honored to recieved this award on the Council behalf.  It couldn't have been accomplished without all of your help and hard work!
Speaking of hard work, it is time to get back to it.  The 40 Days for Life event started on Ash Wednesday.  During Lent there are many things to do to be closer to Christ.  Fasting, adoration and participating in Parish retreats are just a few.  So do what you can to be closer and more like Christ!
I hope this year will be as productive as the last.  I believe it will be with your help.  The Council will be sponsor several meals at Mary's soup kitchen thought out the year.  We will have at least two BBQ's for the council and will assist with the one at the carnival for the Parish, spaghetti dinners and sponsor the annual Mother's Day breakfast.
Membership is also a priority, if any Brother know of a qualified canadate for membership please let me or our F.S. Robert Diekel know.  Also a reminder for F.S. Diekel to please keep in mind to send in your dues for the 2016 year.  Please make your $20.00 checks out to "Council 276" and send them to: K of C PO Box 63, Whitehall NY 12887
